Question 1: How can I apply and submit my job application?

Answer:
If this is your first job application with us, please create a profile account to receive a TM Careers login ID. Then, you may deposit your resume online and apply for the job.

If you are returning applicant, you may update your latest profile and resume in TM Careers and apply for the job.

Question 2: How long is the waiting period? How do I know about the status of my application?

Answer:
Only short listed candidates will be notified. If you are not contacted within 6 months from the closing date of job opening, you application is considered not successful.

Question 3: How long do you keep my resume?

Answer:
TM will keep your resume for one year. To avoid expiration, please update your resume periodically or create a new one if it has becomes expired.

Question 4: Can I send my resume in hardcopy?

Answer:
No. You must deposit your resume in TM Career.

Question 5: How can I apply for a job opportunity on the TM Career website?

Answer:
To apply for any job you must create an account and complete your resume through TM Career. To submit application for a specific job you can simply press button” Click to Apply” at the bottom of the job posting. You will be prompted to log into your TM Career account. When you click “Apply”, your application will be submitted.

Question 6: I am interested in more than one position listed on the website; will it affect my application if I apply for more than one job at TM Career?

Answer:
You are welcome to apply for each position that interests you and matches your qualifications.

Question 7: What should I attach to my application?

Answer:
In addition to a completed resume and online application, we also require copies of all relevant documents (e.g. your education certificates and professional references). Please upload these documents as an attachment via our system.

Question 8: What is the selection process?

Answer:
TM will review resumes submitted for posted opportunities based on the qualifying criteria established for the position. The best qualified candidates will be contacted for interviews. Recruiters and hiring managers may also search the TM Career resume database for qualified candidates.

Question 9: Will I be contacted by phone or by email for an interview?

Answer:
We will send an email to contact applicants or follow up by phone. We strongly suggest that you regularly check your email and phone messages throughout the duration of your job application period. We also suggest that you double check that your profile and resume includes up to date contact information.

Question 10: Where is the interview location?

Answer:
Most of the interviews will be held at TM headquarters in Klang Valley. However, it will also depend on the job openings requirement. Further information on interview location will be supplied to you when we contact you for interview.

Question 11: How can I find the status of my application?

Answer:
Log into TM Career. In the “Application Status” section, you’ll find the current status of your application.

Question 12: How can I apply and submit my internship application?

Answer:
If this is your first Internship application with us, please create a profile account to receive a TM Careers login ID. Then, you may deposit your resume online and apply for the internship. If you are returning applicant, you may update your latest profile and resume in TM Careers and apply for the Internship.

Question 13: How long is the waiting period? How do I know about the status of my internship application?

Answer:
Only short listed candidates will be notified. If you are not contacted within 1 month from the closing date of job opening, your application is considered not successful.

Question 14: I am interested in more than one internship listed on the website. Will it affect my application if I apply for more than one internship at TM Career?

Answer:
You are welcome to apply for each internship that interests you and matches your requirement.
